Services and Fees
Individual Pieces
- Up to 5 pieces
- Minimum $3
- $5 loading fee over 3 pieces
Full Shelf
Bisque:
- Up to 4" $28
- 5" $36
- 6" $42
- 7" $46
Glaze:
- Up to 4" $38
- 5" $46
- 6" $52
- 7" $56

Half Kiln
- $60 bisque firing (cone 06-04)
- $70 glaze firing (cone 5-6)
subject to loading fee, or loading lesson up to $30
Full Kiln
- $90 bisque firing (cone 06-04)
- $100 glaze firing (cone 5-6)

Full Capacity Firing
SAS Studios has a 7 cubic ft Olympic Kiln that is only ran at full capacity.

Firing Temps
SAS Studios bisque fires to Cone 05 and glaze fires to Cone 5. Any firing services below a full kiln rental will be fired to cone 05 and 5.

Materials
ALL MATERIALS USED MUST BE KNOWN!
To avoid damages to work or the kiln, all materials, i.e. clay body, underglaze, glaze, must be known and evidence to confirm must be provided.

Firing Schedule
SAS Studios only fires at full capacity, with no set schedule. Any services below a full kiln rental is subject to SAS Studios schedule, which will be determined upon receiving request.

Loading and Unloading
Work will be loaded and unloaded by Stefanie. Over 3 pieces is subject to a loading fee.
- If you are knowledgeable, you can load and unload your own wares. Schedule to be determined upon confirmation of services.
- Learn the process for a one time $30 fee.
Loading fees
- 3+ pieces $5
- Shelf $15
- Half Kiln $20
- Full Kiln $30
Damages
- Any damages to kiln shelves are subject to a fee, up to the cost of a new kiln shelf if necessary.
- Any damages to kiln due to misuse or materials is subject to a fee for repairs, up to the cost of a new kiln if necessary.
- Any damages to work due to loading are subject to refund on a case by case basis.
