Public and Private Events

Events take place in the Gallery/Community space at Activation Studios. Located at 2304 The Plaza.

Please note, the room is located on the 2nd floor and there is no elevator. 




  • A Public Event is a class, often referred to as a workshop, available to the public (16y+) by registering for the event through website.
  • A Private Event is a class not offered to the public. This includes a one on one lesson, a lesson for a couple, trio, small group (up to 6 people) or large group (7-16 people). Whether it is for you to hone in on your craft, a date night, friends night out, group in town or team building, I am here for you! The project can be personalized, something you've been wanting to make, or can be determined together if guidance is needed. Rates vary.
  • A Pop-Up Event is a class that is offered at a business. If you own or work at a small business, restaurant, corporation or anything in between, and want to host events or do something special for your staff, we can customize a lesson plan to bring your vision to life.

Pottery

Unleash your creativity in my pottery workshop, designed for beginners and experienced artists alike! This hands-on session gives you the opportunity to work with clay and create a beautiful, personalized ceramic piece. Whether you're looking to make a functional item like a mug, bowl, or plate, or explore more whimsical designs, you’ll receive step-by-step guidance and instruction.

Pottery workshops are perfect for a fun night out, a creative date, or simply as a way to unwind and try something new. Reserve your spot today and get ready to get your hands dirty and create something truly special!

Details:

  • Duration: 1.5-2 hours
  • Group Size: 12-18 participants. 16y/o+
  • Skill Level: All levels welcome, no experience necessary
  • Materials Provided: clay, tools, and glazes are included
  • Additional Information: The general lead time for ceramics, from creation to completion is at least 4 weeks. After the workshop, your piece will be fully dried out in order to be bisque fired. Depending on the project, you may glaze at the workshop, otherwise you will pick your glaze at the workshop and I will glaze and refire your work to complete the project. You’ll be notified when it’s ready for pick-up.
